The Conran Shop : Christmas in July

Last Thursday, I hopped on a early Eurostar to London, off to Fulham Road in Chelsea, for The Conran Shop Christmas 2013 Preview. July 25th felt very much like December 25th, except maybe for the traditional-looking red white and green xmas that turned out to be a bit more offbeat.

 

Yes, Christmas 2013 at The Conran Shop will be some kind of an exotic and vivid psychedelic party with big watermelons in the plates !

 

I guess that none of you is thinking about Santa at this time of the year – ok right now, the outside temperature here on the French Atlantic Coast is actually flirting with 35 degrees Celsius… But, with neon pinks, yellows and blues all over, flashy glowing cacti replacing the evergreen conifers, disco balls, fluoro plexiglass snowflakes and trendy wrapping papers, I bet you will want to jump 5 months ahead. Right?

 

Out of the many cool things, I’ll give a special mention to the foodie, especially the yummy and beautifully-packed chocolate boxes, the PEZ dispensers AND the adorable and very thoughtful Whisky Advent Calendar… So fresh.
