Designed by architects Charlotte de Tonnac and Hugo Sauzay of Festen interior design agency, Le Pigalle offers locally produced beer, vintage vinyl from a resident musicologist, flowers from the neighborhood florist, and many more hyper-local touches distillated by super-hip personalities of Paris’ 9th arrondissement. Le Pigalle hotel is, quite literally, a step into both the past and the future of this storied quarter.

“All the rooms have a strong Parisian identity. They are decorated in the style of the area, known as La Nouvelle Athènes for its neoclassical architecture, which inspired artists and poets in the late nineteenth century. And they convey a specific image of Pigalle: historic, modern, decadent, multicultural, musical. They are simple and comfortable, full of domestic touches, more like a friend’s bedroom than a cookie-cutter hotel room.
