About : “Flora Dora is home to a newly discovered archive of original textile and wallpaper designs. Dating back to the 1950s and spanning three decades, these unique patterns are the work of British artist and designer Sheila Bownas, whose career stretched from post WW2 to the 1980s.

We offer a range of giclée prints, fabric, cushions and postcards. To compliment the period of Sheila’s designs you can also find a small selection of furniture, ceramics and tableware in our ‘originals’ range.”

“This is a truly British venture; the cushion covers are sewn in our hometown, the stunning art prints are produced in Birmingham, and the fabric is printed just 20m a time in a London workshop. Discovering Sheila’s work gave us the instant desire to protect their history as well as to bring them back to life in a sympathetic way. We are proud to make these beautiful patterns available for the first time.”
