Mia Gammelgard : chaise Hippo

Pour l’éditeur Blå Station, la designer Mia Gammelgard a imaginé Hippo est une petite chaise en bois laqué aux accents traditionnels suédois et à la modernité légère. Revêtue de petites guêtres, sa forme évoque à la fois l’équilibre et la grâce d’une ballerine et la force et la stabilité d’un hippopotame.

About : “Hippo, design Mia Gammelgaard, is a modern wooden chair that has a feeling of traditional security at the same time as exuding an air of modern playfulness. The design is a balance between the playful dance of a ballerina and the stability and power of a hippopotamus. Togheter with Stavfel produktion and Lisa Agby we have tried to capture the spirit of Hippo in a few short filmclips.”
