About : Elizabeth Moran is a recent graduate of the Furniture Department at the Rhode Island School of Design. Interested in material and fabrication exploration and experimentation as a way to create interesting and tactile experience between furniture and its user.
In the past six months she developed an ever-growing interest and awareness of our responsibilities as designers to be more cautious of our choices in materials and fabrication processes. She expressed this interest in her degree project by exploring the genre of “natural building” and applying these materials to create a series of chairs.
