Jack Storey : Upholstered Chair

Young Newcastle based designer Jack Storey explores texture, colour and proportion with his very elegant and 1950’s feel Upholstered Chair.

About : Made from American white oak (finished with Danish oil) and upholstered in Kvadrat wool fabrics, the chair combines bold form with keen attention to detailing. The composition achieves sofa-like comfort but with more structurally detailed form along with upholstery techniques. The colour and aesthetics combine contemporary shaping with a subtle and sophisticated colour palate.
