Marie Dessuant for Another Country : Another Ceramic Candlestick

French designer Marie Dessuant has sent me her latest project Another Ceramic Candlestick designed for UK brand Another Country. It is a family of perfectly charming and functional candleholders made of turned solid oak, topped with a glazed stoneware lid. Inside is a concealed box, perfect for hiding away or keeping belongings safe.

Another Country was founded in 2010 by Paul de Zwart (founding publisher of Wallpaper* Magazine). They are a UK brand that believes in sustainable manufacture, timeless design and quality at fair prices. All their products are made in the UK and Europe using FSC certified timber of the highest grade. They pride themselves on their craftsmanship and they make furniture to last.
