Duccio Maria Gambi is a furniture and interior designer working between Florence and Paris. These two pieces called Retrostorico and Petrografico designed for Nero Design Gallery really caught my eye.
From the Designer – “I immediately fell in love with the pure blocks of Luserna stone. The basic idea for the project has been to bring one of them straight to a living room. The transformation into a moveable object was achieved through a separation into little blocks, whose cutting lines become a graphic themes. The enamel paint of the sides underlines this graphical attribute exalting at the same time a lot of the stone details”.
