About – Wanting to give volume to this unique place in Lyon, Léa Padovani & Sébastien Kieffer of French design studio POOL engaged into a composition of geometric shapes on the floor, wall and ceiling, each referring to and delimiting functional areas. The idea was to bring different writings into one and form a common space through the play of materials, colors and shapes.
Mixing ancient and modern codes, the starting point for this venue was the Italian “tavola calda“, which is dear to the designers. A place where you can drink coffee, chat, have a bite. A place of instinctive use that evolves throughout the day. Starting from 7am, the visitor is invited to discover the master coffee roaster Extrait take-away service with a facade window opening on the street.
