Right after landing from New York City last Monday, I hopped on another plane to fly to Denmark the next day … my kinda life!
There, I met up with the awesome team of Danish design brand Vipp. Together with top European design bloggers, I was invited to an exclusive event at Vipp’s headquarters and flagship store in Copenhagen – a Christmas culinary workshop and a bloggers’ styling battle.
The equation was simple : 3 teams of bloggers x 1 Danish chef x 5 dishes = 15 most inspiring stylings.
I teamed up together with Pella (stilinspiration), Jantine & Vivian (April & May) and Allan (Bungalow5) to be challenged to a full day of styling a five course Danish Christmas menu, served in Vipp ceramics and accessories & other Danish products.
Have a look at the results – pictures above and the 4 bellow photographed by Anders Hviid. What do you think? If you like them, VOTE FOR US … visit the Instagram page of Vipp here and like Team 2 pictures!
Last Tuesday was not just fun and inspirational. It was also fascinating to dive into the heart and spirit of the Vipp brand. Most of us are familiar with the iconic Vipp pedal bin, but fewer know the incredible Vipp saga. I was felt privileged to listen to Vipp owner, Jette Egelund, telling us the story that began with her father, Holger Nielsen who created the Vipp pedal bin back in 1939 for his wife’s hairdressing salon.
Thank you Morten Bo Jensen, Vipp chief designer, for the breakfast presentation, Mikkel Karstad for treating us with the fantastic diner you prepared, and thank you the Vipp team & family, especially Jette, Sophie and Christina for the warm welcome. Had a fabulous day in Copenhagen.
