For the fifth consecutive year, Vitra has partnered with La Source Association by offering 51 units of the iconic Wire Chair designed by Charles & Ray Eames in 1951.
The chair will be pimped by many renowned artists, designers, architects and fashion designers. As every year, the funds will be donated to the association whose educational and social mission is to help children and young adults in personal difficulty to develop their creativity through artistic expression.
So if you happen to be in Paris mid-December, La Source Association’s auction sale will take place Monday, December 14th 2015 at the Hotel Industry, 4 Place Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Paris 6th, under the hammer of auctioneer Simon de Pury.
This 18th sale is preceded by an on-site exhibition of these unique pieces on December 12, 13 and 14.
